This course is a practical training for students on the basic skills of service processes on HVAC&R systems such as methods of recovery, recycle and reclaiming of refrigerants, recognizing, etc. Duct fabrication processes such as cutting, bending, forming are included. Also the piping used in chiller A/C systems (types, joints, connection, etc) will be covered. Methods of retrofitting of old HVAC&R systems will be included. Assemble of simple A/C or refrigeration unit with adaptation of all requirements such as fitting, welding, charging, testing etc.
